CapitaLand's Sustainable Ganpati Celebration brought the spirit of Ganesh Chaturthi to its workplace communities across Pune through a creative and eco-conscious employee and tenant engagement experience.
Held on 8th, 9th and 10th September 2026, the three-day celebration was conducted across Avance 2, Hinjewadi; Avance 1, Hinjewadi; and International Tech Park – Kharadi, bringing together 500+ participants through a combination of sustainability, creativity, music, and community engagement.
The celebration was organised by CapitaLand and managed and executed by NextGenInnov8 Events, with the objective of creating an engaging festive experience while encouraging employees to explore a more sustainable approach to celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi.
A Sustainable Ganpati Celebration for the Workplace
The Sustainable Ganpati Celebration was designed to combine the cultural spirit of Ganesh Chaturthi with meaningful workplace engagement.
One of the key attractions was an Eco-Friendly Ganpati Idol Making Workshop, where participants had the opportunity to create their own Ganesh idols through a hands-on creative experience.
The workshop encouraged employees to explore an environmentally conscious approach to festival celebrations while providing an opportunity to relax, create, and participate with colleagues.
By bringing sustainability into a traditional festive activity, the initiative demonstrated how corporate festival celebrations can combine cultural participation with environmental awareness.
Eco-Friendly Ganpati Idol Making Workshop
The Ganpati Idol Making Workshop provided participants with an interactive experience centred around creativity and sustainability.
Employees participated in the process of creating eco-friendly Ganesh idols, turning a traditional festival activity into a hands-on workplace engagement experience.
The activity encouraged:
Creative participation
Sustainability awareness
Employee interaction
Team participation
Cultural engagement
Mindful celebration
The workshop also created an informal environment where employees could step away from their regular work routines and enjoy a creative activity together.
Drum Circle Workshop: Bringing Energy to the Workplace
Adding a completely different dimension to the celebration, the Drum Circle Workshop brought music, rhythm, and high-energy participation to the CapitaLand workplace environment.
Employees came together to participate in interactive rhythmic activities, creating an energetic atmosphere filled with music and collective participation.
The Drum Circle complemented the calm and creative experience of the Ganpati idol-making workshop, giving participants two distinct ways to engage with the celebration—through creativity and sustainability on one side, and music and collective energy on the other.
Multi-Location Corporate Event Execution in Pune
The celebration was executed across three CapitaLand properties:
